AN Autumn Bazaar will be held at Melksham United Church on Saturday 17th November, from 10.00am to 12.00noon.
Margaret Henry from the church says, “These fund-raising events are always great fun, meeting and chatting with friends over a cuppa. We do hope you will find something that takes your fancy among our many stalls. We shall have – cakes, books, greeting cards, jewellery, and a White Elephant stall. There will be an activity table for the children, a Christmas and craft stall, and a children’s and ladies’ handknits stall.
“As usual there will be a raffle, and in addition, we shall be holding a silent auction of the gift hamper very kindly donated to the church by McCartney & Stone.
“Refreshments provided with tea/coffee and biscuits £1, and no entry fee. All proceeds will go to our development fund. Do come along with your friends and enjoy the morning with us.”
