THE autumn season of lunchtime recitals at Rachel Fowler Centre begins on Thursday 14th September.
The organisers say, “As has become a tradition, we will be starting with the joyful, lively and very popular folkgroup Sloejam. They offer a wide variety of music to suit all tastes.
“Two weeks after then on the 28th September our recitalist will be the incomparable and highly entertaining Sue Law. Sue is a fine pianist who combines ‘nice tunes’ with interesting anecdotes.
“The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes. There is no charge to come and listen. Light refreshments are available from noon and donations towards the upkeep of the Rachel Fowler Centre are welcomed.”
