Beechfield House Hotel in Beanacre has received a coveted industry rating making it one of the top places stay in the United Kingdom.
The local luxury country house hotel has received the coveted Red Star rating by the AA placing it in the top 160 venues in the country.
The four Red Star award for the late Victorian Bath stone property means it is an Automobile Association ‘Inspectors’ Choice’ in Britain and Ireland and is the motoring organisation’s highest accolade.
The AA states, “This hotel has been selected by the AA as one of the best hotels in the British Isles, offering excellent levels of quality throughout, outstanding levels of hospitality and service.
“Beechfield House has developed into the property seen today, with a clear commitment to the physical attributes of the property including newly developed public areas, maximising guest space and comfort in this stunning building.
“The four star rating means the hotel is professional, uniformed staff respond to your needs or requests, and there usually are well-appointed public areas. The restaurant or dining room is open to residents and non-residents, and lunch is available in a designated eating area.”
The restaurant was also awarded 2 AA rosettes. This is awarded to, ‘Excellent restaurants, which aim for and achieve higher standards, better consistency and where a greater precision is apparent in the cooking. There will be obvious attention to the selection of quality ingredients.’ Only around 40% of restaurants hotels within the AA Restaurant Guide will have two Rosettes.
