The South West in Bloom group had their first Zoom meeting of the year on 10th February.
The group is a team of volunteers who work hard throughout the year to keep Melksham looking beautiful.
While their monthly Tidy Town Days have to be paused for now due to restrictions, other plans are in progress behind the scenes.
Working closely with the town council, projects to be pursued this year include planting along the empty wall by Sainsbury’s, continuing work on the Friends Garden on King Street, extra colour in the flowerbeds by the library, and Olympic-themed flags throughout the town in summer.
The group are always looking for helpers, so if you would be interested in supporting these activities once restrictions are lifted, get in touch with the group on swibmelksham@gmail.com
