THE White Hart at Atworth is hosting its ‘Vinyl Night’ next month, as well as more free live music events for everyone to enjoy.
This Sunday, 3rd March, Blue Dog the Band will get the pub jumping with their unique brand of music.
Organisers say, “Blue Dog are a four-piece roots-rock band based in and around the Bath area. They play a mixture of original songs and instrumentals, together with a selection of tunes from artists as diverse as Focus, Cream and the Dixie Dregs. The band members are all seasoned veterans of the local music scene, and include musicians who have toured Europe, Bosnia and the USA.”
Music starts at 4pm.
On Sunday 10th March, the pub will be hosting its ‘Vinyl Night’, inviting everyone to bring in their own vinyl records to share, or to listen to the pub’s own selection.
Organisers say, “Join us for another brilliant night of singing, dancing or just sharing! Let us know your music knowledge and bring your own vinyl to play/share. Everyone welcome.”
The night runs from 5pm to 8pm.
On Friday 15th March from 9pm, the White Hart will be throwing a St Paddy’s party with music from Straight Shooter.
Organisers say, “Straight Shooter are a four-piece rock covers band, that has been together since the end of 2006. Expect songs by the likes of Thin Lizzy, The Who, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Status Quo, plus other more obscure bits’n’pieces and general horseplay!”
