A NOTICE of election has been posted by Melksham Without Parish Council to elect a councillor for the Bowerhill Ward, with a nomination deadline of Friday 14th Feb. at 4pm.
The election poll, if contested, will take place on Thursday 12th March.
Forms of nomination may be obtained from the returning officer who will, at the request of an elector for the electoral area, prepare a nomination paper for signature. Nomination papers can be obtained as follows: Downloading forms from the Wiltshire Council website, reception at County Hall Trowbridge, reception at Council Offices Chippenham, reception at The Council House Salisbury, Clerk to the Parish Council or by telephoning Wiltshire Electoral Services on 0300 456 0112 for a set to be posted to you.
Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the returning officer to the following locations: Main reception at County Hall Trowbridge or main reception at Council Office Chippenham – please ask for a member of the electoral services team on arrival.
