THE Bowerhill Ladies Group is back with members attending their regular meetings.
“It’s been great to welcome our members back after such a long gap due to Covid and lockdowns,” says the secretary of the group, Angela Crocker.
“Our monthly meetings have restarted and we have a great new programme to look forward to. We meet once a month on the third Tuesday 7.45pm at Bowerhill Village Hall. You do not need to be resident of Bowerhill, our members are from all areas of Melksham and the surrounding towns and villages.
“The talks and activities are varied and sometimes we have a trip out. Whatever we do you can guarantee an evening of fun and friendship.
“Why not give us a try? The talk next month on Tuesday 17th May is all about the discovery of the Frome Hoard, a large container of approximately 52,000 Roman coins unearthed in a field near Frome in 2010. Visitors are most welcome. A small entrance fee will be charged which includes refreshments.”
