A SUN cream dispenser has recently been installed in Bowerhill Sports Field enabling residents to protect their skin throughout the summer.
The dispenser was donated by Gompels HealthCare and is for the use of everyone attending the field during the summer. Gompels HealthCare have also provided free re-fills to replenish the dispenser.
A spokesperson from Melksham Without Parish Council (MWPC) said, “We would like to express our thanks to Gompels HealthCare for the donation of the sun cream that has recently been installed at the Bowerhill Sports Field for the free use of all.
“The field was chosen as the location because it has a large footfall of users including dog walkers, footballers and employees from neighbouring businesses.
“With the current climate, people may be caught out by the weather, so this is a way of ensuring that people have access to sun cream while at the field. We have received positive responses from the community, as people can see that it benefits everybody and, most importantly, protects people.”
