Bowerhill Primary School hosted its annual back-to-school fete on Saturday 6th September, raising £4,000 to enhance the school environment.
The event is the school’s biggest annual event, which welcomed 800 people. The funds will be put towards enriching and enhancing the school environment and primary school journey for the children.
Headteacher Chris Light said, “It was a fun-filled family day. This year we had Bluey and Stitch join us. Alongside some of our favourites like the Parent Teacher Association games, Future of Football, Wiltshire Police and the climbing wall from Wandering Wall.
“It was a fantastic success and the sun shone. It was great to see local members of the community and families from school and welcome those new families who have joined us this year.
“We also hosted many local craft stalls and companies. It is great to see so many talented local businesses.”
The school’s next big events will be at Christmas. More information on these will follow.
Chris said, “Keep up to date with our news and events and follow us on Facebook, Bowerhill Buddies.”
Parent Teacher Association Chair Lisa said, “The back-to-school fete is our flagship event. This year was one of our best yet. We hope the community enjoyed the day. Thank you for all your support.”
