A MOBILE breast screening unit has come to Melksham and is taking appointments for women aged between 50-70 years old.
The unit is located in the Melksham Community Hospital car park and will be there until 1st March.
Wiltshire Council is urging people to book an appointment as a third of breast cancers are diagnosed through screening and early detection improves your survival rate.
All women aged 50 to 70 are entitled to a screening every three years. If you are over 70 you are still at risk of breast cancer and can also attend.
