The campaign to get Britain out of the European Union went ‘GO’ again on Saturday when teams promoting ‘Brexit’ hit Melksham and Bath.
UKIP South West and Gibraltar MEP Dr Julia Reid joined fellow ‘Brexiteers’ in Melksham while a team, also promoting the Grassroots Out (GO) campaign, descended on Bath to promote the case for why Britain should leave the European Union.
“Volunteers, including representatives from Better Off Out, were on hand to speak to the public as part of the concerted drive to make Britain a sovereign nation once more,” said UKIP South West and Gibraltar MEP Dr Julia Reid. “Yesterday’s GO action day was very successful. It gave us an opportunity to speak to the public about the need to Brexit to reclaim our freedom and independence.
“Our laws and legislation should be made in Westminster and not by the anti-democratic and unaccountable EU.
“Let’s make June 23rd British Independence day by voting to leave the EU. It is time to get our country back.”
