HOLT couple, Jan and Paul Hepworth, have cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats on a tandem bike to raise money for the MS Society.
Jan and Paul spent 20 days cycling unaided the length of Britain, raising £2,000 for the MS Society on their ‘trusty tandem’ bike.
However, the trip wasn’t without incident as Jan suffered a clavicle fracture and Paul a dislocated thumb on day seven, following a nasty fall on the Wirral Cycle Trail.
Despite injury, they both made it to John O’Groats on Sunday 29th September cycling a total of 929.5 miles.
They said, “A million thank yous to everyone who has made a donation to our chosen charity. In particular, this is our only opportunity to thank our many anonymous donors too.”
