Due to the resignation of Margaret Lomas, a vacancy has arisen for a parish councillor in Broughton Gifford.
Anyone interested must make it known in writing by Thursday 2nd October to the returning officer.
If ten candidates apply for the vacant position than a election will be held to fill the vacancy but if insufficient interest is shown than a co-option will take place where members of the council will decide on who should take the position.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than Friday 5th December.
