Melksham Seniors have a number of events planned for the coming weeks.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the January film club has been put back a week and will now be showing ‘My Cousin Rachel’ on Monday 22nd January, 2pm at Melksham Assembly Hall.
On Monday 5th February the group will be relaunching the Activity Club at the Forest Community Centre, with a great new programme of exciting activities including line dancing, indoor skittles and sing-along. The fun starts at 1.45pm and will take place on the first Monday of every month.
The group will welcome NHS Wiltshire and Giffords Surgery to the Riverside Club on Thursday 15th February to discuss the new repeat prescription service and how the problems that have been encountered can be overcome.
The meeting will start at 10am with a discussion, allowing time for people to share their feedback and make suggestions for improvements to the service. At 11am representatives from the NHS Wiltshire and Giffords Surgery will give a presentation and answer questions.
The next film event at The Assembly Hall on Monday 19th February, will be the showing of the Judy Dench film ‘Victoria and Abdul’, which is a highly-acclaimed award-winner.
