The Bloom in Melksham group and the Town Team are set to start work again, designing and creating decorative flags of all sizes, shapes and descriptions, to hang in the town throughout the summer months.
The flags will mark town events such as Carnival, Party in the Park and the all-important judging of the South West in Bloom competition.
A group of volunteers will be working on Saturday afternoons fortnightly over the coming months, designing, sewing, cutting and completing flags. More volunteers will be welcomed with open arms – the more the merrier!
The first workshop of the year will be held in the Town Hall on Saturday 10th February from 1pm to 3pm.
