MELKSHAM Community Money Advice, which provides a free, impartial and confidential advice service to anyone who is struggling with personal finance, is seeking help.
“We need support to grow so that we can meet the demand of the local community for free and impartial debt advice,” explains a spokesperson for the organisation. “There are two main ways you can support us – by becoming a volunteer, or by making a financial contribution.
Volunteer roles
“We have a range of volunteer roles that we are currently seeking to recruit to: Debt Adviser Support – if you can spare around six hours a month. Debt Adviser – if you can spare around three to six hours a week. Treasurer – if you can spare one to two hours a month. For more information, email: melksham cma@gmail.com
Financial contributions
“We rely entirely on grants and donations and any contribution will help towards the cost of training a new adviser or our modest running costs.
“If you would like to make a one off or regular donation, please get in touch via our ‘Contact Us’ page on our website: https://melksham cma.org/contact/; or email: melkshamcma@gmail.com.”
Melksham Community Money Advice meets at the Melksham Baptist Church, Old Broughton Road. Clients can be seen by appointment. For more information, phone 07710 893168, email: infomelkshamcma@gmail. com; or visit the website: www. melkshamcma.org
