Read Easy Melksham continues to help adults who struggle with reading.
Management team leader, David Williams says, “We provide coaching sessions that are free, fun and one-to-one. Our volunteer coaches enjoy a good relationship with their reading students. All our volunteers find that their work is enormously rewarding and makes an amazing difference to the lives of those we help.
“Over the last few months, we have been operating with two coordinators and this system of working has proved extremely successful. The role of coordinator is very important and entails working with both readers and coaches at “the sharp end,” as well as with the group’s management team. Volunteering with Read Easy is exciting and very rewarding.
“However, one of our current coordinators has decided to step down and we now have the opportunity available for someone else to join our lively group. We would like to find a volunteer with the right skills and commitment.
