THE Thursday session at The Riverside Club for Melksham Seniors at 10.30am-12.30pm every week will take a slightly new format.
Each week will be hosted by either Sue, who will run her popular singalong sessions or Clare, who will lead the group in gentle exercises with music.
This Thursday, 21st June, Pamela will be talking about ‘cruising with a difference’ and Sue will be getting the group’s vocal cords honed.
The following Thursday, 28th June, Martin will give a lighthearted talk on aspects of his adventurous life and Clare will lead exercises.
The talks will vary through different topics, ranging from hints on taking better photos, to walks around the area, taking in the town.
The Forest Activity club will be held, as always, on the first Monday of each month with the next session on Monday 2nd July from 1.30pm-4pm. Everyone over the age of 55 is welcome. The idea of the Seniors group is for people to get out and meet others and enjoy time spent with new and old friends.
