THE Pig and Whistle pub is hosting prize bingo, live music and its charity breakfast club in the weeks ahead.
On Saturday 19th February the pub is hosting its charity breakfast club, from 9.30am to 2pm.
“Throughout the year here at The Pig we hold charity breakfast clubs to raise money and awareness for local groups,” says the pub.
“We will also have our trolley open for collecting any non-perishable goods to pass on to the local food bank. We, The Pig and Whistle will donate £1 per full English sold – the money is donated to a new charity each month. Tea and coffee is available for a donation.
“So join us for a full English or just a breakfast bap (veggie and kids’ options available) and a catch up.”
On Wednesday 23rd February, from 5pm to 8pm, the pub is hosting a themed food night.
They say, “On the last Wednesday of every month we will be having a themed food night, with a different country each month. Booking is advised.”
Keep an eye on the pub’s Facebook page for details of this month’s theme.
