A CHARITY ball is being organised for Saturday 19th March for the Helping Harry fund.
Preparations are well under way for a special charity ball to raise £60,000 so that Melksham toddler, Harry Kirkman, can go to America for a potentially life-changing operation.
Three year-old Harry has cerebral palsy which affects all of his limbs, making it very hard to balance. So far they have raised nearly £35,000 and have many fundraisers and events planned for the next few months.
The Charity Glitter Ball will take place at Melksham Assembly Hall on Saturday 19th March at 7.30pm.
Harry’s mum Charlotte Deegan said, “We’ve got brilliant entertainment lined up for the 19th. We have booked both a Tom Jones and Pink tribute act and a great band from Bradford-on-Avon. Plus there will be a disco. We’ll have photo pods and a Smile camera and poker tables for fun. It’s going to be a great night and all the money is going to the Helping Harry Fund.”
Tickets cost £10 available from Charlotte Deegan 07909 441808 or Zoe Britton 07775 959780 or collect from Melksham Assembly Hall. Tickets can also be brought on the night (subject to availability).
