MELKSHAM 1st Brownies held a celebration evening recently to mark the 30th anniversary of two of their leaders.
Brown Owl, Bev Viveash and Tawny Owl, Lynne Smith, have served with Melksham 1st Brownies ever since the pack started in 1994. Earlier this month, they went to The Water Meadow for a celebration meal with the Brownies and a few ‘special’ VIPs also attended.
“We had a wonderful evening,” explained Bev. “We were joined by Susan Foreman, who was the district commissioner at the time of our pack opening and encouraged us to start the new pack, Judy Owl, who recently left us to have her baby and two original Brownies from our very first meeting 30 years ago.
“We had a beautiful cake made for us by @clifton_in_the_kitchen. Many thanks go to The Water Meadow for a lovely evening with great food!”
