PUPILS at Forest and Sandridge Primary School raised nearly £700 for Children in Need in a special day of activities and dressing up last month.
Deputy headteacher Helen Biles-Wood said, “We held a spotty non-uniform day and we were very lucky to have staff from Halifax to come and support our day. They organised games and activities to raise extra money for Children in Need.
“The children thoroughly enjoyed all the exciting things that they had prepared for them and the staff joined in too! With the help of the Halifax we raised £683.”
