MELKSHAM has built a great reputation over the years for the most fantastic lights around and this year is set to be even more spectacular than before!
The Melksham Christmas Lights Group volunteers who create the display are working their usual magic to light up the town and this year Melksham’s Christmas Market and Light Switch on will be bigger than ever.
The event will take place on Saturday 3rd December in the Market Place and as well as the usual Christmas stalls, fairground rides and hot food, there will be extra stalls, even more entertainment and live music all afternoon.
Santa will arrive at 1pm to open the event and is looking forward to meeting all the Melksham children in his Winter Wonderland Grotto. While the mulled wine flows and the hot food warms you up, enjoy delightful Christmas music from choirs, bands and musicians all afternoon, until the famous Melksham Christmas Lights are switched on at 6.30pm, after which the music, food and fairground rides continue till 7.30pm.
