FOLLOWING the recent resignation of cllr Stefano Patacchiola, there is a casual vacancy on Melksham Without Parish Council (MWPC) to be filled by co-option, as no call for an election has been made by residents.
This means that residents can apply to the council to be considered for the role; please write to the MWPC clerk to confirm your eligibility with a few details about yourself and why you are interested in becoming a councillor.
Deadline for applicants is Sunday 21st January
Decision to be made is Monday 22nd January at the full council meeting.
