FOREST ROAD, MELKSHAM, (AVAD CONVENIENCE STORE) (ED11) Following a report of a disorder at the location, Police attended and established an intoxicated male had smashed alcohol bottles in the store, and caused damage to a nearby vehicle and left the scene. Officers later located the male and arrested him on suspicion of Criminal damage. The male also assaulted officers by kicking and spitting at them, so was further arrested for assaulting an emergency worker. Jason WYNTER, 49, from Salisbury was later charged with assault and remanded to court. |

STONEY GUTTER, WEST ASHTON, (ED13) Following information from a member of the public, a vehicle was stop check by officers and the male driver has tested positive to a road side drug swipe and subsequently arrested. Thomas ALBA, 23, from Swindon was later released and charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis. He will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 31st July. |
