54200049945 Transport – Road related offence 27/05/2020 17:57 CORSHAM ROAD, WHITLEY, (ED12) Police attended single vehicle RTC. The female driver subsequently failed a roadside breath test for alcohol was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. Rebecca HITCHEN, 36 from Caretakers Close, Melksham was later released and charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol and will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 26th June
54200050947 Crime – Vehicle offences 30/05/2020 15:24 OUTMARSH, SEMINGTON, (ED12) Between 1200 and 1355 hours an offender has entered a parked and unattended insecure vehicle and stolen a wallet and contents from the central console. The wallet was later recovered from a nearby hedge.
54200051088 Transport – Road related offence 30/05/2020 21:07 A350, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Officers carried out a routine stop check on a moped after seeing it ridden by a male without a helmet. The rider was discovered to have no valid insurance. The rider, in his 20’s from the Trowbridge area was reported for various road traffic offences and the bike seized under 165 RTA.

The female driver was given a drug swipe test which she failed. The female was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit for drugs. The female, in her 30’s from Melksham was later released RUI (Under Police Investigation)
