HELP keep the town tidy and litter-free at the next Town Tidy day on Sunday 3rd of March.
The group meet at the town hall at 1pm and will provide litter pickers, bags and Hi Vis jackets.
“This is a time for people to join together and spend a short time looking after the town they live in,” says organiser, Terri Welch. “Nobody likes to see litter but we are often not in a position to pick up the offending object. But the first Sunday of each month gives us the opportunity to join others and do our bit for Melksham. Come in comfy shoes and bring your own gloves.
“Perhaps you would prefer to litter pick nearer home. That’s great if so and you can bring your full plastic sack and leave it with the rest, to the left of the town hall. We look forward to seeing you.”
