THE team running the Community Bus have been busy planning this year’s days out that will include trips to Wells and Glastonbury, the New Forest and four trips to the seaside.
Starting on Saturday 20th April the bus will be going to Wells for the market and then on to Glastonbury for a wander around the town.
This is following on Saturday 18th May with a day in the New Forest, visiting Lymington.
“By popular request, we then have four trips to the seaside on 15th June, Swanage; 20th July, Weymouth; 17th August, Poole and 14th September, Weston-super-Mare,” says a member of the Community Bus team, John Ruderman.
“Then on 19th October we go to Abergavenny for the market and on 16th November Bourton-on-the-Water.
“As usual, your driver for the days out will be Peter, who you all know from past trips. All trips this year will cost £25.
“We will do a Christmas shopping trip at some point in December; if there is enough interest, please let Peter know what you would like to do. Don’t forget about our Thursday and Friday shopping services; the bus will pick you up from your home and takes you to Sainsbury’s.”
