Wiltshire Mind is pleased to be part of a Health Education England project which is offering a comprehensive programme of freetraining on various aspects of mental health to people working in Wiltshire in the following sectors; emergency services, care provision, voluntary organisations and health services.
They say, “We want to raise awareness of mental health issues which will help people deal more effectively with those they meet who are experiencing poor mental health.
“We have a range of training sessions designed to suit all needs, from bitesize (1-2 hours) to 1 and 2 day courses.
“We are offering two Mental Health First Aid courses as below:
28/29 January – 2 day Mental Health First Aid Course; 4 February – 1 day Mental Health First Aid Course
“These are free of charge and available for up to 10 delegates from the above sectors, on each course.
“We are also offering 2 hour courses on: 5 Ways to Wellbeing and Mental Health Awareness.
“Later in the year there will be a session on Mental Health Awareness training for managers too.
