DEVIZES’ long running cribbage league is on the hunt for new players and venues amid dwindling numbers.
The league, which hosts games on Thursday evenings, runs from mid-October to Easter. The pairs games typically run for 90 minutes, followed by a social supper.
Entry costs £25 per team of four for the season, which covers prize money and trophies. To enter a team for the 2014/15 season, send a team name, home venue, and contact details to Devizes Crib League, c/o Clive Gough, Victoria Cottage, Estcourt St, Devizes, SN10 1LN.
