MELKSHAM Food Bank has received a boost of supplies from Refa Tandoori, the Indian takeaway in Melksham Market Place.

“We recently donated food to the Melksham Food Bank at the Baptist Church on Broughton Road; they are doing fantastic work and need all the help they can get in the current crisis,” explained Gias Uddin from Refa.
“We were looking at ways we could help during this pandemic period and the food bank said we could drop food down on a Monday afternoon. They have procedures in place to keep everyone safe.
“They appreciated the food very much. We hope to do this again and help further in the future.”
You can donate items of food to Melksham Food Bank at Asda, Sainsbury’s or Waitrose supermarkets. For more details, visit http://melkshamfoodbank.org.uk or email melkshamfoodbank@gmail.com
Refa is still open seven days a week from 5pm to 9pm for collection or delivery of takeaways.
