An award-winning drama society in Holt is set to perform its next production at the end of this month, titled The Kitchen Sink.
Holt Players will be performing the comedy show from Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th November at Holt Village Hall.
“It is a bittersweet and poignant comedy about small changes and big dreams in an ordinary, or rather unusual, family in Yorkshire,” said Fiona Campbell, a member of Holt Players.
“It will have you roaring with laughter one minute and reaching for your hanky the next.”

Holt Players have been performing for over 50 years and last year won a prestigious National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) award for two highly successful productions. This year, the group was nominated in the NODA awards for best set design in the region, for a creative set on a small stage in their recent production, A Pack of Lies.
The group’s cast is drawn from the wider area. “Four actors and the director of the next production are all making their Holt Players debut this month,” said Fiona. “From Melksham we have Kirstin West, from Trowbridge Maxson Bailey, and three talented actors from Frome: Noelle Griersen, Harry Harman and Dan Sung, alongside the well-known director Richard Wright from Westbury.”
Tickets cost £12 and are available from the Holt Players page on TicketSource: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/holt-players/ or via the Holt Players website: www.holtplayers.com.
