ELLENESS hair salon have celebrated their one year anniversary with a party.
The salon at Roundponds which was set up by friends Sophie Hellyer and Lyndsey Yarwood held the celebration following a very successful first year in business.
The party was held at Buds in Melksham with a Hollywood theme as a result of a recent trip to Los Angeles by Sophie and Lyndsey for Goldwell’s 2014 Colourzoom unveiling. Buds was decorated for the occasion with a photo booth supplied by Funtography as well as paparazzi, a red carpet and a Hollywood style backdrop supplied by KMS, Goldwell and Wella.
Speaking to Melksham News about the event, Sophie and Lyndsey said, “We wanted to celebrate our first year with all our friends, family and most importantly all of our loyal customers and thought a party would be the perfect way to say thank you.
“The trip to LA inspired us for the theme of the party but also gained us more experience in the colouring aspect of our job adding inspiring technical knowledge to be able to create all of the exciting new trends for 2014.
“It was a fantastic party and we would like to thank Buds for the venue and music, Jenny Sheppard for props, Ginny Sawyer for the food and City Fitness for providing our stunning butlers in the buff. We are looking forward to what next year brings with lots of exciting things already in the pipeline.”
Lyndsey and Sophie are set to be part of the backstage stylists at the Clothes Show to be staged at NEC Birmingham on Monday 9th December.
