Officers investigating a fail to stop in Melksham are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened between approximately 1pm to 1.20pm on June 13th.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along the B3107 from Holt in the direction of Melksham. As the vehicle turned into the Stagwood Equestrian Centre, it was struck to the rear passenger side, causing a back and neck injury to the driver – a woman in her 20s from Trowbridge.
The offending vehicle was driven off towards Melksham after failing to stop at the scene. It is described as a small silver vehicle, possibly a Hyundai, with one male occupant on board.
PC Mark Curle, of the Roads Policing Unit said, “I am looking to hear from anyone who was driving this route at the same time as the incident, who may have either witnessed what happened, or may have dash cam footage of the incident.”
