COMIC fans of all ages made their way to Komix Melksham to take part in the annual Free Comic Book Day event and to snap up some of the freebies on offer.
Komix owner Hayley Spencer said, “We had a great day with lots of happy faces and about 1,000 comics were given away to children and grown ups.”
This is the sixth year Komix has supported the Free Comic Book Day, Hayley said, “Every year it’s fantastic to get more people discovering new adventures and enjoying reading in any form.”
As well as giving away comics to fans young and old, Hayley explains what else she enjoys about the day, “It’s hard to say how many people we had come and visit, but it was easily in the multiple hundreds, and it’s fab to see families coming together and all finding something to suit them.”
