CELEBRATIONS were on the menu last week at Melksham Free Dining for Marjorie, as she celebrated her 95th birthday.
“What an amazing achievement,” said Louisa Lewis, founder of the charity that offers a free lunch every Wednesday at Bowerhill Village Hall. “Marjorie was one of our first diners and six months on, she hasn’t missed one Wednesday. She always arrives with a wonderful smile and we know she loves being with us as much as we love having her. It was a lovely day and everyone enjoyed being part of this very special lady’s birthday.”
Sitting amongst her newfound friends, Marjorie shared numerous cakes made especially for the occasion by her granddaughter, Natalie. The dining group presented her with chocolates and a beautiful bouquet of flowers to mark her 95 years.
