FUNDRAISING events for Red Nose Day were held at the Melksham Singin’ Group earlier this month hosted by organisers of the group, Mike and Jeanette Nash.
The cake stall raised £146.41, the bring and buy £27.38 and donations in envelopes £17, totalling £190.79 which was rounded with further donations to make £200.
The group meets every Wednesday from 2-4 at the Riverside Centre. Words for all songs are provided. Everyone is welcome; it is a fun group (not a choir) and there is wheelchair access and disabled parking at the front.
