Timid, shy, have difficulty in starting a conversation, or cannot communicate in a clear manner?
When someone speaks to you, you wish the ground would open up and swallow you?
“If this is the case, become an active member of Melksham Speakers Club and throw your fears away,” says Sheila Jackson from the group.
“We will show you how to have confidence, overcome your shyness and do things you have always wanted to do. Have the confidence to book that holiday that perhaps is too much of a challenge. Apply for that job that you have always wanted and did not think that you have the ability to do it, or would be too nervous in going for the job interview.
“Many people have joined a speakers club and be amazed at their abilities and done the thing that they feared and have succeeded with delight to themselves and their families. You can do the same.
“We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the Rachel Fowler Centre at 7.30 p.m. Do not be nervous of coming on your own, we all have – and been met with a warm welcome. If you require further information contact Sheila on 07726 537452
