The out-going Melksham Carnival royalty have presented the ‘Royalty Cup’ to Libra Hair Studio.
Every year the retiring Melksham Carnival royalty will choose a business or individual who has made their year of reign extra special by going above and beyond what was asked of them.
The team were presented with the trophy by Carnival princess, Lola Brady, as her last act before retiring.
Royalty guardian Beth Dark said, “The 2017 royalty decided to award this title and beautiful trophy to Libra, who will soon be changing their name to The Hair Lounge, for the extra special treatment they received during the last year.
‘This team of ladies are brilliant at not only making the royalty look and feel fabulous, but also at promoting every event which Carnival put on, including judging various competitions for us. I’m so pleased they won this award.
“Nina Hillman, Jo Soper, Lauren Milsom and Sarah Chappel are delighted to receive this award and it will take pride of place in the salon.”
Nina said, “We feel very proud and quite emotional and it’s lovely to feel appreciated for all the hard work we do to support Melksham Carnival.”
