AN update on Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s new airbase at Semington, near Melksham, will be given at the charity’s Annual General Meeting this Wednesday 6th June.
The charity recently moved to the purpose-built airbase, at Outmarsh, bringing together the fundraising, administrative and operational teams under one roof.
The Annual General Meeting will start with the formal business of the Board of Trustees approving the 2016-17 annual accounts followed by presentations from some of the charity’s key supporters. The meeting will end with an opportunity for questions by the public.
David Philpott, chief executive of Wiltshire Air Ambulance said, “At our Annual General Meeting we will be looking back over what we have achieved to date, including the exciting move to our new airbase in Semington. Also, some of our key supporters will be speaking about how and why they got involved with the airbase appeal and general support for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.”
BBC Wiltshire’s lunchtime presenter Graham Seaman will be hosting the AGM and has given his services for free.
The AGM will take place at Melksham Town Football Club, Oakfield Stadium, Eastern Way, Melksham, SN12 7GU from 7pm to 8pm.
