THE next ‘Town Tidy’ event will be held on Saturday 7th March and Sunday 8th March.
The regular community event is now facilitated by local group ‘Melksham Bloomers’ and at the beginning of the year, was relaunched as a two-day event.
Organisers say, “The sessions take place on the first full weekend of each month and are held on both the Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1-3pm, starting and finishing at the Town Hall for registration and refreshments.
“Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather and the type of work you want to do. All other equipment and gloves will be available to borrow, but please feel free to bring your own if you prefer. After registration, volunteers will be covered by the town council’s liability insurance. Everyone is welcome!”
Town Tidy takes place Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March, 1pm to 3pm, starting at the Town Hall, Market Place, Melksham.
