Artistic volunteers are needed to make flags to be hung around Melksham in July.
The Bloom in Melksham group and the Town Team have started making decorative flags to hang in the summer marking town events such as Carnival, Party in the Park and judging of South West in Bloom competition.
Mayor of Melksham, Terri Welch says, “A small group has been working on a Saturday afternoon designing, sewing, cutting and completing flags.
“There must be many people in town who have skills that can be used; design, patience, people who enjoy sewing or drawing, there is even a need for tea makers!”
The next working groups will be held in the Town Hall on Saturday 1st April and Saturday 15th April from 2pm to 4pm. All are welcome to join the mixed and welcoming group.
