The Co-operative Funeralcare in Melksham has successfully raised £140 for charity from the sale of ice creams.
Despite the bad weather, colleagues at The Co-operative Funeralcare took to the streets of Melksham to brighten up what was a dull afternoon by selling ice creams from a bicycle to raise money for the Quarriers Paddocks service in Melksham, which provides residential care for young people who need support.
Anita Silk, funeral arranger at The Co-operative Funeralcare in Melksham said, “I would just like to thank everyone for their support and I’d also like to express my gratitude to Miss Haldane for donating the use of her ice cream bike.
“Everyone really took to the event. It was a great day and we’re hopeful that we will be able to do this again next year.”
