THERE’S still time to get your tickets to Melksham Music and Drama’s fabulous new panto, ‘Ali Baba and his 40 thieves’.
The show will be performed at the Rachel Fowler Centre on this Friday, 18th February and Saturday 19th February and the following weekend on Friday 25th February and Saturday 26th February.
Friday’s performances start at 7.30pm and Saturday’s performances start at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, doors open half hour before show starts.
Melksham Music and Drama say, “Join the cast of Ali Baba on his adventure to save his true love Safiya and her sister, Huma, from slavery at the hands of his brother, Cassim and his money-hungry wife, Sharon.
“Ali must overcome the attempts of Sheikh Mustafa Leikh, his henchman Yessah and Nossah and the ‘forty’ thieves to find enough money and treasure to save his love!
“Scheherazade guides you through the story of Ali, with help (or hindrance!), from his mum, Muma Baba (the dame) and her trusty camel, Kamil, alongside other colourful and exciting characters.”
Co-directors and producers, Katie Mence and Ali Turrell are excited to bring you a show full of colour, up-beat songs and energetic dances and, of course, plenty of laughs! The pantomime is written by professional panto script writer Ben Crocker.
