JOIN the ‘Bowerhill Barkers’, a new fundraising group, for an event to raise money for Guide Dogs Southampton, on Thursday 24th May.
The event will be the first for the new group, led by Caroline Fielding, who is registered as blind. The group will host the fundraiser at the Bowerhill Village Hall on Thursday 24th May from 10am to 4pm.
They will be joined by Guide dogs and Guide puppies for everyone to meet, as well as enjoying entertainment such as live music, games and competitions for the children, a raffle priced at £1 a ticket which features various prizes including an afternoon tea for two, and a tombola and auction of promises – all in aid of Guide Dogs Southampton.
Guide Dogs Southampton helped Caroline when she was first registered as blind. Now on the waiting list for a Guide dog, she wants to raise as much money as she can to show her gratitude and help them train more dogs.
