This play is a tender and moving story of regret, loss and coming to terms with ageing between the wars, with the looming prospect of the Second World War.
The two main characters are elderly spinster sisters, living quietly in a Cornish village. They have a chance encounter with a beautiful young man who is washed up on the beach, possibly drowned. The story of their relationship with the young man leads to a poignant climax which will leave you reaching for your tissues.
Holt Dramatic Society present this challenging play, directed by Kate Palmer, with their usual flair, skill and talent.
Don’t miss out on yet another exciting HDS production!
