A QUIZ night will be held next week to raise money for Sue Mortimer’s campaign to relaunch the Melksham Lunch Club, which was closed by Wiltshire Council last month.
Sue hopes to relaunch the service as ‘Melksham Community Meals’, focussing on reaching out to vulnerable older people in the community who may be struggling with isolation.
The quiz night will be held at Melksham Town Football Club on Sunday 27th January. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start.
Entry costs £2 per person – with a maximum of six people per team. There will be a trophy for the winners and runners-up and a chance to win some great raffle prizes donated by local businesses and people.
