In conjunction with other Lions clubs in the area, Melksham Lions have been collecting laptops and other IT devices for local school children.
Melksham Lions report, “So far, the clubs have collected 30 laptops, tablets, iPads etc that have been handed over to Wiltshire Digital Drive at Priority IT Ltd, Westbury, for refurbishment and distribution to schoolchildren in north Wiltshire including Melksham.
“Our collection is ongoing and you can donate surplus laptops etc to our collection point with Lion member, Paul Buxton at ‘Clematis’ 595B Semington Rd, Melksham SN12 6DY or phone 0345 8337401. Please observe the Covid regulations. We already have another six to donate.
