FOLLOWING a public consultation the layout of the new Melksham Community Campus has been proposed.
A total of 627 people completed the consultation undertook by Melksham Community Operations Board (COB) with 93 respondents completing an online survey and 534 filling out hard copies.
The COB directly engaged with groups including an area board workshop, Melksham and District Older Persons Forum, Melksham Campus Arts Steering Group, Melksham Swordfish Amateur Swimming Club, lunch club service at Melksham Assembly Hall, Melksham Oak School, young people at the youth drop in service, Aloeric and Forest and Sandridge schools and Melksham Bowls Club.
Some of the most reoccurring comments included a desire for an ‘M’ over the community logo with it moved to the right hand side and for the logo to be a different colour with green or cyan most popular.
Following the consultation the proposed logo will be put forward to the area board to consider.
