THE next Lunchtime Recital at the Rachel Fowler Centre will be on Thursday 16th June, featuring soprano, Jane Hunt, and her accompanist, Clive Pollard.
Organisers say, “Jane has the most beautiful voice and a wonderful rapport with her audience. She will be singing songs by British composers including Hubert Parry, Vaughan Williams and Clive Pollard himself!
“A fortnight later, on 30th June, our recitalist will be Nick Goodall, retired head of music at Stonar School and a favourite at the Rachel Fowler Centre. He will be performing musical gems at the piano and possibly with some musical friends.
“The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes. Light refreshments are available from noon. There is no charge, but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed.”
